BIOG
Originally from Littlehampton, West Sussex, Kelly danced at her local dance school from an early age. Having got the bug she then went on to train in acting and musical theatre at HTS (Hertfordshire Theatre School) graduating in July 2003.
Kelly is a versatile, dynamic and dedicated actress/singer/dancer with experience in various aspects of performing; including weekly rep, open air theatre and panto. Although small in stature, she is a strong, natural performer with good stage presence, comic timing and bundles of energy.
Her theatre credits include; sketches for The Comedy Project @ the Soho Theatre, London; regular actress for upcoming comedy duo Doggett and Ephgrave (both theatre and screen); regular actress for the Market Theatre Company (my favourite role being Edith Summers in the one woman show The Maid); weekly rep actress in the Charles Vance Summer Play Festivals three seasons running, where favourite roles include Peggy Evans in Neil Simon's Come Blow Your Horn, Sybil Merton in Lord Arthur Savile's Crime, Jessie Strachan in Pink String and Sealing Wax, Mary Yellan in the new adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's Jamaica Inn , Rhoda Marley in Rookery Nook , the title role in Jane Eyre, Sybil Chase Private Lives and Ida Pools Paradise .
Other theatre credits include Jack and the Beanstalk (Proper Pantomie Comapny) and Wendy Darling in Peter Pan (twice for Extravaganza Productions at The Palace Theatre, Newark and Middlesbrough Theatre and once for CV Productions at The Lyceum Theatre, Crewe, a role she now has firmly under my belt and have, as a result, become a very experienced flier!!!
Film credits include the title role in the short film Charlotte Love for Middlesex University, Emily Turner in Lady In Waiting for GOT Productions and the Make Up Girl in Making Up with Doggett and Ephgrave.
As well as an acting career Kelly teaches performing arts to children aged 4-16 years of age and is the assistant director for the North Herts All Girls Choir and co-founder of All In Theatre Company and regularly performs with All In Gospel (a division of the theatre company).
